BURNING (!) QUESTION: I was not aware of marijuana until well after I graduated CHS (see the halo?) Indeed, not until spring semester at WVU was I intervened by dorm-mates, and held hostage in my room until they got me high (5 to 10 minutes, I'm guessing) (hold it in - I'm still laughing!). To your knowledge was there any pot-smoking going on at CHS in 1968 or before?

Howdy! I'm happy to see you'll be at the reunion - after 50 years of waiting! I read your msg. that Bill is doing good in Richmond. I was there yesterday for a cataract follow-up. We live about 90 minutes south of Richmond just over the NC border (Lake Gaston), so we go to Chapel Hill or Richmond for medical care. Please tell Bill HEY for me. Hope I get a chance to catch up with the info on the rest of the Mays at the reunion. (WILL YOU GOLF WITH ME? - I'm a hacker - easy to beat!)
So sorry that Walter has passed away. Seems I called him Walter and not Buddy. As I recall he moved to Chattanooga, and was to attend UT.

Hi, Anne! It's nice to hear of you. I want to tell you how sorry I am about Travvy and Bill. Travvy and I had a little history with FOP swimming and then with CHS fraternity. He was my frat big brother, and thus we double dated a lot. Travvy had a distinctive way of driving the Plymouth 3-speed. Funny! Then my brother Russ hung out with Bill over the years. Great memories! hope to see you at the reunion. (Don't make me have to travel all the way to Belgium!)

Hi, James! Sounds like a great life in Colorado! May I ask if you are sure that Rusty O'Dell has died? Seems I have seen him at one of our reunions, but you say he died in fall of 68, when we were still seniors, and I would definitely have remembered that. I remember that Gary Schlact died in an accident on the turnpike at Christmas break that year. Again, my memory is not what it used to be, but this is the first that I have heard that Rusty had died. Thanks, man! See you in July!
Beautiful inside and out
Gone tooooooo soon
