Catherine Elizabeth "Cathy" Taylor (Metz)
Gary Ammons was my kind friend while we were students at Dilworth, Sedgefield, and Myers Park. We reconnected through this website. He encouraged me to join Facebook and was my mentor in the Social Media world. He gave me great advice about my Pontiac G-8 and dealing with Duke Energy as they tried to cut down my woods. He could not make the Reunion due to his illness. We were planning a mini-reunion with friends from the neighborhood. Luckily, he lived long enough to see his latest grandchild. He had a beautiful family and a successful business career. My heart breaks for his wife Joyce and his entire family.
Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Roberts (Kodzai)
Gary was a good friend of ours (David Renfro, Liz Roberts) at MPHS and after. He and his then wife used to babysit our daughter. We'd also go out and have fun.
I remember how sweet he was. My condolences to his wife and family.
