Daniel "Danny" Holman COLUMBIA - Daniel "Danny" Holman, 66, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. A celebration in honor of Danny will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at his home, 3115 Amherst Avenue, Columbia, SC 29205. An additional celebration will be held in Charlotte at a later date. Danny grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina, where he was a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He worked for many years in the field of short-term investment counseling. Danny is survived by his daughter, Britt Freeman; sister, Judy Harris (Graham); nephew, Matthew Holman; nieces, Whitney Holman and Sarah Harris; many friends who were "family by choice;" and his four-legged "girl," Annie.
