Michael R. Pratt
Mr. Pratt, 56, of Charlotte, NC passed away on February 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. A wife of twenty years lost her husband and best friend, three daughters lost their wonderful father, a mother lost her devoted son, and three brothers and a sister lost their loving sibling. He was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Pratt, Sr. and his sister, Terri Nimmons.
He is survived by his wife, Zena Jenkins-Pratt, his three daughters, Chamel (34), Talese (28) and Michael-Michelle Pratt (8), and one stepson, Antoine Jenkins (32). He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Pratt, his brothers, Kelly Jr., Greg and Darryl Pratt, and his sister, Wanda Nivens. He will be missed by his uncle, Donald Andrews, his aunt, Dorthea Roberts, eight grandchildren and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 12 noon with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Clanton Presbyterian Church, 335 Freeland Lane, Charlotte, NC 28217.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Wachovia Bank, c/o Zena Jenkins-Pratt for benefit of Michael-Michelle Pratt.
