Celia Clark ObituaryCelia W. Clark, 64, of Greenville, South Carolina died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at McCall Hospice House of pancreatic cancer. Celia was the daughter of the late Betty Withington White and John Thomas White.

She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and served Greenville County in the non-profit field as a social worker for more than 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Carl B. Clark of Greenville, her sister, Frances Hisashima of Honolulu, nephew, John Hisashima, also of Honolulu, and niece, Elizabeth Hisashima of San Francisco.

She is also survived by her aunt, Marian Withington of Greenville and aunt, Mary Sturtevant of Columbia, plus numerous cousins and close friends, including her beloved dog, Sadie.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Nancy Brooks White and Elizabeth Thomas White.

A private memorial service and interment will be held by the family and memorials may be made to the local chapter of Battle Buddies which trains therapy dogs for military veterans suffering from PTSD. Local address is 3 Dunberry Ct. Simpsonville, SC 29681.
