William A. Kennedy "Bill"

JANUARY 21, 1952 ~ JULY 28, 2018 (AGE 66)

William A. Kennedy, better known as Bill (Mooresville, Jefferson) passed away July 28, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.  Bill graduated from Duke University in 1974, and UNC-CH School of Law in 1977.  He worked for Integon Life Insurance Corp. (Winston Salem) and then for Elledge Group, Inc. (Statesville).  He was predeceased by his parents, A.C. Kennedy and Polly Kennedy and by a sister, Sharon.  He is survived by his brother, Dwight A. Kennedy (Mooresville, Jefferson) two aunts and numerous cousins and their children.  He survived many close friends who predeceased him over the years, and had many wonderful memories of those friendships.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Jefferson United Methodist Church by Pastor David Lawrence. Burial will follow in Jefferson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Jefferson United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
