Timothy Dewayne Shropshire Allgood, 43, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, August 15, 2011 in a local hospice center.

He was baptized at an early age at the Shepherd Church of Christ and was a Howard High School graduate. He was formerly employed by Silverdale Correction Center.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Jimmie Lee Roberts; aunt, Joann Cosper; uncles, Charles Driver and James Johnson; brother, Alan Allgood.

Survivors include his sons, Timothy Shropshire, Jr., Alan Shropshire and Devin Crockran; daughters, Timia Shropshire and Tanesha Townsend; granddaughter, Chynah Nelson; mother, Katie Allgood, all of Chattanooga; father, Oliver Allgood of Kennesaw, Ga.; brothers, Leslie Shropshire and Patrick (Katrina) Shropshire; sisters, Marilyn (Anthony) Lofton, Phyllis (Gerald) Jones, Nanette Shropshire and Pam Allgood; uncles, Michael Roberts, Joe Roberts, Jr., Gary Roberts, Walter (Peggy) Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, Nathaniel (Diane) Cosper and Clinton (Essie Mae) Cosper; aunts, Tammy Roberts and Ruth Johnson all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
