Another terrible loss from our Class.  It's getting so I dread opening these Forum messages anymore.  Joe was too good to die so soon.  We're all getting there, but it still seems too soon.  God Bless.  Semper Fi.

Very sorry to ear of Joe's passing. He was a great guy and I remember fondly the great times we had on campus and TKE parties. He's been described by Col. Bill as strong and tough and he was all of that but as I got to know him he had a humorous and gentle side. I would describe him as a gauntlet in a velvet glove. Strong core, great guy. God bless him and his family. He's with "the One in whom we live and move and have our being." RIP Joe.see you on the oter side!

All - although it is a day late (I just got it last night!) you may all want to go to the following site to see a beautiful tribute for Memorial day. Go to http://worriersanonymous.org/share/mansions.htm. It is a little over 8 minutes of video. Enjoy.

Hi Everyone,  Lets start a conversation about the reunion coming up in January 2022 in Florida.  My wife and I are going.  It is a great facility and location and it is definately a high end venue - the three days cost just over $900 just for the room.

However there are a LOT of reasons why I decided to sign up and give my credit card number a few days ago..

 * First of all is that it would cost me a lot more to drive around the United States rent motel rooms, and visit my buddies and classmates at their homes - it is not practical - that's why reunions are held - a commonly recognized time to get together for all that is best for all and the lowest cost option.

*Secondly (and most importently) we are all in our late 70's.  I will be 77 in September and can get around OK for now - but we all know that  the fountain of youth is starting to run dry.  I remember  the meeting in the auditorium in the first week at PMC when (it might have been President Moll) we were told to look at the person to our left and to our right.  Then we were told that that person would not be there when we graduate.  The same is true today.  Sieze the moment - it will not occur again.

* I have missed  just about all of our class reunions because there was always something else going on in my life that seemed to take precedence.  Now I truely regret those decisions,  I realize that our time at PMC was the most impactful period in the molding of who I am and my ability to survive well in this crazy world and stand firm when the sky is falling all around me.  It was our classmates and the shared rook training that gave us a bedrock survivability.  PMC was old school:  integrety --- personal honesty ---  your word is your bond ---, dedication to duty --- General  Order #1 ( I will not leave my post until properly relieved) --- and all the rest  ... timeless GOOD STUFF.   Classmates helped us through PMC and made it fun - we learned one of the most valuable lessons in life -  ALWAYS  HAVE FUN AND BE RESOURCEFUL IN GETTING THROUGH THE SITUATION YOU ARE IN.  Not many folks in the general US population ever learned this - but then not many folks went to a school like PMC as a cadet.

THINK IT OVER CAREFULLY  Overcome any negative thoughts, open up to the idea of quality moments with the PMC crew.  Book a more reasonably priced place, a motel, a VRBO or whatever if you prefer.  It does not matter.  Just come and join us.  Lets take advantage of this event  while we are physically able to do so.

COME AND MAKE IT HAPPEN -- PMC REUNION  FLORIDA IN JANUARY 2022

I know this is a forum for the classmates of the  Great Class of 1966 but I had to make this one time post.

I had to thank all classmates and faternity brothers for all the cards, visits and up- lifting phone calls made to Joe over the last year while he was fighting cancer. Honestly, it meant so much to him to hear from so many classmates. You really are all "true brothers" ! Our family thanks all who were able to come to Joe's funeral services. While we were sad , your support  and  PMC stories brought a smile to our faces and some comfort to our spirit. Just wanted you to know that we do believe that the class of 1966 is The Greatest Class.

They are not really friendly.  Be well and enjoy our biggest State in the union!  Take some pictures please!  We wil take pictures and post them through  Clark Wonderland, and yes he has promised to not post them up- side down.

This year marks 50 years since the official end of the Vietnam War.  34 million served and 58279 service men made the ultimate sacrifice.  I thank God for their sacrifice so I can live and grow old.  In addition I thank all those who severed in Vietnam and died later.  During this Memorial Day we honor all who made the ultimate sacrifice so others can have freedom.  Thank you Dave, Bill and Dennis !  You will never be forgotten.  God Bless America.
