In my first week of football practice on the freshman team, not knowing anyone (remember I'm from NY), I am interested in "who's who". (Of Course).

During an offensive squad scrimmage I see this fullback going off tackle left, "Damn Good" I said, (quick off the ball, smooth hand-off from Yarnall, and he hits the line "Hard" driving the defenders back a couple of yards. Exactly what a fullback should do,(ie get the tough 2 yards and the first down).

"Who is this guy" I ask?  "Pellegrini", they say...... I make it a point to find out about him.

Here's his " Football Creds". High School All-American from Reading PA. Parents and brother are "Mushroom Farmers". ( Totally different from my backround). Cool.

We became TKE brothers,good friends and teams-mates. (He and Jeff Travers helped me get through Accounting, Big time, Thanks guys)

He missed most of our senior season due to a concussion in the Moravian College game (Big Coal Miners). I'm sure he was upset. (Missing our "Glory Days").
