Good Morning Class of 1979
In celebration of our 40th reunion I thought it would be fun to have a casual get together on Friday Aug.2nd at O’Tooles on Forest Hill Ave starting about 7 stop by if you can and enjoy a cold beverage and catch up with everyone especially if you can’t make the reunion. Look forward to seeing anyone who can come.

‘79 Lancers (and friends), I am back to nag at you. Again. The cutoff day for attendance to our reunion is coming up soon, Monday, July 1, 2019. If you’re planning to attend, we need your confirmation by emailing Mark Shockley at MHS79@cox.net and your payment (Mark will send you instructions). Our next deposit is due soon, and without more participants, we will have to cancel or reschedule.
If you’re a friend of the Class of ‘79, you are very welcome to attend. The same instructions for confirmation and payment apply to you as well.
I hope we’ll hear from some of you who were on the fence. The committee has put in a lot of time to planning this party, and we really want it to happen! Please join us at Magnolia Green Golf Club, August 3, 6-10PM.

Hey Lancers, our 40 Year Reunion is on! If you haven’t read all the previous announcements, it will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Magnolia Green Golf Club, 6-10PM. Thank you to all who have already sent your payments, and most especially to those who have made donations to the cause.
I’m having a lot of fun catching up with some of you as we chat and email about our 40 Year Reunion. I have heard some wild tales over the last few weeks, but I want to hear from more of you! Where are you people? 😄Facebook, email and cell phones (all three are addictions of mine) have made it so much easier to communicate now than 30 years ago, but face to face is still great! Your reunion committee can attest to that! We’ve had lots of fun together talking about old times, our lives today, and our future plans. And we all are probably finding, time passes quickly. You never know, this could be your last chance to be with people who knew you before you became the responsible adult in the room.
The cutoff date for payment is July 1, 2019. Please email Mark Shockley at MHS79@cox.net to be added to the count, and he will send you the payment information. PayPal is now available for those who asked for that option. If you’ve already committed to attending, please reach out to your old friends and convince them to join us too!

Hi everyone! We hope you’re all excited about our reunion on August 3, 2019, from 6-10 at Magnolia Green Golf Club in Chesterfield. Tickets are $75 per person.
Bring your spouse, your brother, your mom, a date, your tennis coach, gigalo, whomever you want! Included in the price will be great food, wine and beer, and other non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a cash bar, and of course, the opportunity to catch up with old friends. Your friends will want to talk about kids, grandchildren, retirement, that son living in your garage, gray hair, no hair, creaky knees, bad backs, who was hot back then, who is hot now, that commune we discussed forming back in 2009, and many more scintillating topics! I hate to point this out, but some of you are getting older, and this is a great opportunity to get out and see other elder folks!! Who knows, some of you singles may strike up a romance with someone who remembers you when you were young and innocent.

Attention Manchester High School Class of 1979 Lancers!
Your reunion committee has been feverishly working to make our 40th REUNION a resounding success. We are in the process of booking the beautiful club house at Magnolia Green in western Chesterfield on the evening of August the 3rd at 6pm. The venue is spacious and beautifully appointed, overlooking the golf course with a lovely veranda and a dance floor. We want you to join us for an evening of dancing, drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and many trips down memory lane. The cost of this evening is $75 per person or $150 per couple.
THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We need a definite head count of who will be coming and we need assistance in reaching far and wide to Lancers in the Class of ‘79! If you are coming, we need you to email us at MHS79@COX.NET with the number of attendees. Once you have RSVP’d in the affirmative through our class email, you will receive a return email with information for submitting your fee for the event. We are hoping for AT LEAST 100 guests to keep the costs reasonable. We also need you to forward this notice to ALL THE CLASSMATES YOU KNOW…we don’t want anyone to be left out!
Time is quickly running out…we need to put down a deposit by April 28th to hold the venue, so we need you to RESPOND!! Come catch up with what everyone’s done in the past FORTY YEARS!!!
So, come on 1979 Lancers… let’s do this!

40th REUNION UPDATE
A big "Thank You" goes out to Brian Slater who generously made an additional donation to the reunion!! We really appreciate it Brian! Everyone is challenged to help raise the funds needed to make this reunion a success. We have had quite a few classmates respond that they wanted to come, but we want to encourage those people to go ahead and email our class site at MHS79@cox.net so we can send you information as to where to send your $75 per person payment. Please feel free to share our post with your facebook classmates to get the word out! Can't wait to see you there on August 3rd at Magnolia Green!!

Class of '79 40th Class Reunion
Your committee has been hard at work, planning an event that you will definitely NOT want to miss! Our venue has been booked and many of your classmates have already sent in their money to see this event happen!! The location is the beautiful Magnolia Green Clubhouse, off of Hull Street Road, in western Chesterfield. The time is 6pm to 10pm. We're going to have plenty of heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, tea and lemonade, all included for your $75 per person. Cash bar will be available for mixed drinks, etc... A dance floor and outdoor covered patio for your enjoyment as well!
