I can't believe that we are facing our 30 year re-union!
I still have my yearbook- how times have changed :) Well, I have been married for almost 25 years and I have settled down in Massachusetts. All of my relatives are "down South" and initially, I had to get accustomed to the north. I had to loose one of my favorite words..ya'll ;) People here just can't handle it- such is life. I love it here(yes, even now with the bitter cold weather). The change in seasons are beautiful and the mountains, beaches, etc. are within driving distance. Enough about the scenery...
My best accomplishment in life is my 16 year old daughter, Rakhi- who is a junior this year. We have begun the process of checking out a variety of colleges. She wants to stay in the Northeast because her favorite season is winter. In many ways, she is the opposite of what I was in high school- she is talkative and outgoing. She participates in many committees and she is the class vice president this year. I look at her and I'm amazed- I could barely say "hi" at her age! She is confident and articulate- well, I'll stop now... My opinions are clearly biased!
My husband is a perfect match for me- he has a wonderful blend of the eastern culture and the western culture. We laugh a lot. We have a wonderful fusion of east meets west.
