Comments:
After graduation I attended Wright Junior College for a year and a half, then accepted a position with Illinois Bell for eleven years before moving to Woodruff, Wisconsin where I worked for General Telephone. I returned to Illinois in 1976 to become a partner in a small trucking company which I ran until 1987. I was then hired by a plastic foam manufacturer in Waukegan, Illinois from whom I retired in 2008 as Plant Manager. My love for street rods came full circle on my wedding day 1946 Ford Coupe Rod, ruby red and completely redone. I was in heaven to marry this wonderful person and also to receive a great gift from her. I continue to travel to a number of rod shows, I have entered her (I mean my rod not my wife) in a few shows but simply riding around in her is awesome. I refer to the rod as her and appropriately named her Ruby Begonia. We enjoy it! Other than that life is grand.
My wife Bonnie and I have been married for ten years and we have three children from previous marriages and five grand-children. We live in Antioch, Illinois.
