Marianne and I were best friends throughout grade school and high school.  We walked to school together every day. I was her maid of honor at her wedding.  We kept in touch over the years but didn't see each other very often.  We double dated as teenagers and managed to enjoy ourselves all thru school.  I am sorry to hear that she passed away, I still have the fun memories of our good times together.  We never did get caught when we cut some classes to spend the day at the lake.
