My cousin, Don, died two years ago of a heart attack, while living out his dream in Hawaii. We kept close over the years, whether he was serving his country in Viet Nam or living in Crystal Lake IL with his wife Sally and two daughters, Wendy and Heidi, where they owned an A-Z rental business for many years. After their divorce Don lived in California, Arizona and did a lot of traveling on his boat and RV. We all miss him.

I have not logged on this portion of our reunion, except for my sorority sister Marilyn Sass Lavin.  Don asked me to the senior prom and I hardly knew him and I was so proud to be asked by him.  To find out that he served in Viet Nam while so many of us and most particularly, the males went on to college to avoid the draft at the time, makes him more special.

I had a wonderful time at the prom, thank you for making me feel like a 1960 queen, proud that you served your country, and may his memory be eternal.
