Jill Sharlee Swagler
November 28, 1942  -  November 26, 2023

Jill (Hassler) Sharlee Swagler, 80, passed away on November 26, 2023.  Born and raised in Chicago, Jill ran her own interior painting and design business for several years.  
Jill is survived by her loving sons Daniel (Madeline) Swagler, Shawn (Debra) Swagler, Jeff (Cindy) Swagler, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Dana (Max), Danee, and Paige.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Swagler, mother, Marion (Thorsen) Hassler, father, Charles Hassler, and brother, Scott (Bonnie) Hassler.  Jill’s family meant the world to her, and she was incredibly involved in all their lives, making it to every event, starting with the boys’ baseball, to all the grandchildren’s events.  She had an incredible number of lifelong friends that she made along the way, including her dear friend since the age of one, Shirley Penn.  Jill stayed in touch with everyone.  She was truly the life of the party, and we are blessed to have had so many incredible years with her, although it was not enough.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
