I met Pat in grammar school in either 4th or 5th grade. I had moved to another school district, Belding, but still kept in touch with my friends from Irving Park School and she had become part of that group. Pat was always up to something and full of fun, she made friends wherever she went, and she was a dear Kappa Delta Chi sister. When Pat was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 she was determined to beat it and she fought a courageous battle for eight plus years. She lost the fight on October 22, 2010. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
