Funny things I remember from KPHS (Not in any particular order): Walks and talks with Pat Jablonski, Frances Romano and Darlene Slobedecki, my three dearest friends at KPHS; Sneaking out to go to Dee's (corner of Kostner and Diversey) for the best french fries in Chicago; the continuing saga of Jablonski's blue mohair sweater; making Mr. Clark stutter; eating fresh baked peanut butter cookies from the lunch ladies; losing my blue bus pass on a regular basis; my memorable 16th birthday party; introducing Pat to Ray Listerman (he sat behind me in French class); the Fearsome Beersome; being Pig Pen for the Charlie Brown Christmas School Play; Teacher Marsha Brody who I thought was the coolest teacher on the planet-she was!, attending basketball games and cheering on the Panthers; laughing so hard my sides hurt; writing the feature column for our school newspaper.
