He spoke of his high school friends often and I knew several of them as Bob, (or Chick as his friends outside of school knew him) and I dated during his junior and senior years at Lane. He was a member of the Russian Club and played bass in the band FLIGHT who provided the music for several of Lane’s Friday night dances.
