I attended DePaul University after graduation, and was married in 1983. In fact our wedding was filmed in a documentary film titled "Ziveli! Medicine for the Heart" by Les Blank. Shortly after, my husband and I moved to California and opened our own flooring business that was very successful for 20 years. The economy took a turn in 2008 and we lost everything. But thank God, I have five beautiful children that I am very proud of. They are the world to me. I still don't know how I ran a business and raised 5 beautiful children.
Currently, I am employed at Lowe's as an interior project coordinator.

I will never forget being in auto shop and actually working underneath a car when suddenly the muffler fell on my head. I can't remember the teachers name but he bent over and said "Now what did you do Nikolic".
He really didn't like the fact that girls were admitted and did everthing in his power to pick on us.

I love getting together with my children. No matter where we are, we have a great time. Never a dull moment and always busy. I love to cook and its ironic how whenever I prepare a Serbian specialty dish they seem to pop in coincidentally..

Lane Tech High School will always be an important part of my life. We made history! The education was remarkable. Taking classes such as drafting, auto shop, machine shop has made me a well rounded individual. The knowledge gained has always allowed me to apply it at some point in my life.
