Rosie and I were friends since we were little. (We grew up two doors away.) As we grew older, we grew closer even though we were physically separated by distance. We made a point of talking and visiting each other often.
After Rosie’s passing, her husband, Jules Beuck, made a beautiful memorial/celebratory dinner in her memory (in Chicagoland) and hired Ronnie Rice, one of their favorites, to serenade us.

I miss her still.
