In Memory

Jim Tobin

James Tobin died the summer after we graduated from grade school.  He was hit by a car in front of school on Addison street, he was only 14 years old.  As we gather together, remember our fellow classmate and friend, Jimmy Tobin, may he rest in peace.

Dear Jimmy,

WOW, you had such a huge impact on so many so early in life.  You literally never slowed down, you were always moving, it's like your engine had one speed GO!.  I remember you always gave out nick names to classmates, mine was Davern's Tavern.  You never called me by my first name, you were always stealing things from my lunch, your nose was always running just like you, a whirlwind.  With that said, you were also a kind boy and you are missed.  We will remember you as we gather one more time and celebrate your short life but oh the impact you made in such a short time.  Love you JT, rest in peace my friend.

Cheryl

Cheryl, your memory of Jim, is the same for me. Jim had one speed alright, FULL SPEED AHEAD. I'll never forget the shock of his death at such a young age. RIP, Jim.
