Veterans Day

Thank you to all who have served or are currently serving our country.  We especially thank our classmates who are veterans: Ned Artman, Hugh Baumgardner, James Beard, Clayton Benner, Ohlen Cartmell, Doug Cook, Stanley Davis, David DeLong, Randy Digges, Roger Downs, Jim Dysart, Dave Evans, Gary Faulkner, Stanley Fisher, Boyd Fontaine, Jim Gant, Francis Geyer, Larry Grant, Harrison Gumm, Rick Hildebrand, Jim Hougland, Robert A. Jenkins, Sr., Harold Jones, Charles Kellstadt, Dave Langley, Lonnie Lorren, John Malone, Bill McCorkle, Jack Miller, Gary Nelson, Roy F. Oakes, Gary Rader, Dick Rutherford, Robert Schofield, Neil Smith, Glenn Steinbrook, Frank Terry, Glen Tyler, and Garry Welch.

Camp Sherman's most famous photo was taken on 10/31/18, just 11 days before the Armistice (Veterans Day).  Arthur Mole assembled 21,000 men in the field just North of present Mound City and took the photo from a tower with an 11X14 view camera. This gives the photo a local and Veteran interest.
