   Carolyn Faith (Montgomery) Boyer, 75, of Waverly, Ohio, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on April 5, 2017. 

   She was born March 18, 1942 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert H. Montgomery and Louise (Bandy) Montgomery.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert N. Montgomery, and her sister, Ramona McKeever.

   On November 22, 1961, she was united in marriage to John L. Boyer, who survives.
She is survived by one sister, Evelyn (Mark) Means and beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are her three daughters: Beth A. (Joe) Brown of Waverly, Becky J. (Bruce) Kinnaird, of Dublin, Ohio, and Brenda S. (Boyer) Ford of Waverly.

   Carolyn was extremely proud of her seven grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with each of them. These grandchildren include: Jordan Brown, Caleb (Amber) Brown, Alex Brown, Allyson Ford, Matthew Kinnaird, Taylor Ford, and Madison Kinnaird.

   Some of Carolyn's favorite activities were attending church and her grandchildren's extracurricular activities, shopping and traveling with friends and family. The highlights of her life included being able to travel to England and Ireland with her sisters.

   She always had a caring and compassionate life. She always put others first by donating blankets to Waverly Primary students, as well as sending cards and flowers to others.

   Carolyn was a 1959 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She graduated from Carnegie College, Cleveland, Ohio and Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.   She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Waverly. Carolyn was employed at Pike County Hospital, Waverly, Veteran's Administration, Chillicothe, and retired from Martin Marietta as an Assistant Shift Superintendent.

   Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor David Burriss, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly.  Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 4 - 7 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 and one hour prior to the funeral service.
