    Richard E. Brown, Jr., 54, of Grove City, formerly of Chillicothe, died 10:15 a.m. Thursday July 27, 1995 at his residence, unexpectedly.

    He was born March 12, 1941 in Middleport, Ohio to Richard and Maxine Brown, who survive.  He was an employee of Lazarus in Columbus.

    Also surviving are his wife, the former April Courtright; two daughters, Jeanette and Debra Brown, both at home; a sister, Brenda Essenburg; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  He was predeceased by a son, Jason; and a brother, Raleigh.

    The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Miller Funeral Home in Grove City.  Burial will follow in Grove City Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today.
