    Gary L. Daniels, 45, of Houston, Texas died December 18 in the Casa de Ninos Hospice, Houston, following an extended illness.

    He was born Septemver 28, 1941 in Chillicothe to Francis and Dorothy Rhea Daniels.

    Survivors include a daughter, Toni R. Daniels, Dayton; a son, Timothy A. Daniels, Englewood; former wife and friend, Sharon K. Leidecker, Englewood; a sister, Mrs. Melvin (Betty) Dresbach, Newport News, Virginia; two brothers, Francis Daniels, Jr., Waverly; and Joseph Daniels, Norwalk, Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews.

    Mr. Daniels was vice president in the Trust Department of MBank, Houston.  He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1959.  He had worked at BancOhio from 1964-1967 and worked at Bank One in Dayton before moving to Houston.  While in Chillicothe he formed Teentown U.S.A. which was a community center for young adults.

    Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Dunn officiating.  Friends may meet with the family one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Casa De Ninos, exempt, 1803 Old Spanish Trail - Houston, Texas 77054.
