    Frederick I. "Fred" Fairrow, 69, of Circleville died 11:15 p.m. Tuesday September 9, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday September 13, 2008 in First Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan McReynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery - Frankfort, Ohio.  Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

    Fred was born September 7, 1939 in Ross County to the late Glassco "Bud" and Mary Richardson Fairrow.  On May 4, 1979 he married the former Kathy M. Logan who survives.

    Also surviving are children Frederick I. (Kathy) Fairrow II, of Chillicothe, Dawn E. (Troy) Apparicio, Michael T. Fairrow, both of Columbus and Nannette L. (Cartrell Robert) Wright of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; grandchildren Michelle (Mike) McNish, Troy J. Apparicio, Alexis Apparicio and Aaron Wright; great-grandchildren Elijah and Jaden McNish; brothers Richard Fairrow of Columbus and Christopher Fairrow of Zanesville; sisters Cheryl (John) Brown and Sandra Valentine, both of Chillicothe; mother-in-law Gladys Logan of Circleville; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Nicole; and his beloved pet, Shelby.  He was predeceased by a brother Glassco Fairrow II and by a sister Susan Hambrick.

    Fred was a member of the First Baptist Church and had retired from DuPont.
