    Gary V. Harris, 44, of 180 S. Walnut Street, died 7:16 a.m. May 31 In Medical Center Hospital.  Earlier that morning he was involved in an automobile accident on West Main Street.

    He was born September 19, 1941 to Fred Vernon and Lucille Conley Harris who reside in Chillicothe.

    Surviving are two daughters, Susan Ann and Brenda Jane Harris, at home; a sister, Lydia Jane Harris, and two brothers, Michael "Pete" Harris and Richard "Fuzzy" Harris, all of Chillicothe.  Also surviving are four nieces, a grandniece, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    Mr. Harris was on medical leave of absence from Ross County Medical Center Hospital as a mental technician and from Veterans Administration Medical Center as a nursing assistant.

    Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Glorious Church of God, of which he was a member with Rev. Melvin Maughmer and Rev. S. Cousins officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
