CIRCLEVILLE — Robert A. Schofield, 68, of Circleville, died August 21, 2009 at his residence.
He was born January 2, 1941 in Chillicothe, the son of Albert R. and Louise (Powell) Schofield.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from P.P.G. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marcella Schofield. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (McGuire) Schofield; children, Robert Alan (Lisa Moore) Schofield of Canal Winchester and Susan Marie Gates of Lockbourne; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and sisters, Joyce (Ivan) Waugh of Frankfort, Marge Rose of Hamilton and Kathy (Marty) Knipp of Grove City.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday August 26, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service on Wednesday.
