     Ellner Jane Johnson, 69, of Chillicothe, died 12:02 pm Thursday January 27, 2011 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born August 6, 1941 in Chillicothe to the late Jesse and Georaldine Kuhn Johnson.

     Surviving are a son, Shane E. Johnson; a sister, Jean Massie; a brother, Robert Johnson, all of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Debbie (Steve) Wicker of Beaver; nephews Rocky Roberts and Wayne (Bev) Massie, both of Chillicothe; a niece, Jessica Rankin of Findlay, OH; and special friends, Tula Moody, Helen Downing, and Jeff Pyle, all of Chillicothe.

     Ellner had formerly worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation, Metropolitan Housing, and was bartender at the F.O.E. Aerie 600.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday February 1, 2011 in the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Roberts officiating.  Friends may call at Ware's from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday.  You may sign her online register at www.warefh.com
