     Mary Ruth Pringle Phillips of Cumming, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014.  Born in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ione Pringle. Mary was a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir. She created incredibly beautiful banners for the church sanctuary.She is survived by her husband, Michael Phillips of Cumming; son, Matthew (Danielle) Phillips of Decatur; daughter, Lisa (Donald) Ahmer of Algonquin, Ill.; daughter, Cheryl (Christopher) Kennedy of Dahlonega; sister, Dorothy Johnson of Barrington, Ill.; five grandchildren, Hannah, Amelia, Michael, Charles, Benjamin; and two step grandchildren, Aria and Ava.Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel.
