     Worley Rodehaver passed away on July 23, 2014 at Unniversity Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio as the result of a heart attack.  He had been ill for a number of years and was a resident of Mt. Auburn, Ohio prior to his death.  He had lived in the Cincinnati area since the 1970's.

     Worley was a 1959 graduate of Chillicothe High School and later, in 1962, as an advisor for a local Hi-Y club had designed the large star on top of Carlisle Hill which is lit every year at Christmas time.  While a resident of Chillicothe Worley worked at both WBEX and WCHI radio stations and the Chillicothe Gazette.  He had also worked for the Columbus Dispatch.

     Worley was a leader of the LGBT community in the Cincinnati area, publisher of several community newspapers, and was the Grand Marshall of Cincinnati Pride in 2008.

   A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at First Unitarian Church -  536 Linton Street, Cincinnati 45219.
