Judith A. Bost Augg, affectionately known as Jude, 80, of Chillicothe, went home to be with her Savior at 3:40pm August 7, 2022, at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield following an extended illness. 

She was born October 12, 1941, in Chillicothe, to the late Judson and Marguerite (Cottrill) Bost. 

Surviving are her children: Rob (Diane) Augg II, Timothy (Patty) Janes, all of Chillicothe, and Kimberly Janes and her special friend Jim, of Westerville; grandchildren: Lily and Miles Jude Augg, Nick (Jessie) and Hannah (Michael), and Sean O’Brien; great-grandchildren: Oliver and Addison; brothers Roger Bost and Keith (Jan) Bost; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Albert Janes; her parent Judson Bost; and by her paternal grandparents Margaret Bost “Big Mom” and Sherman Bost “Daddy Bost,” who raised her. 

Jude was a graduate of Chillicothe HS, Class of 1959.  She worked at Wear-Ever and the Mead Paper Co.  Jude attended Brookside Church.

The family would like to thank the staff of ProMedica Hospice and Edgewood Manor Greenfield for their wonderful care.

 Her funeral service will be held at Noon Friday, August 12, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Ryan Bash officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
