       William Laird Graves passed away unexpectedly at the age of 80 in the Miamisburg hospital on October 24, 2020 due to a heart condition.

      Laird was born July 9, 1940 in Chillicothe, Ohio to William Myers Graves and Roseanne Elizabeth Heskett Graves, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline and his sister, Beverly Ann Graves Brockmeyer.

     On September 17, 1961 Laird was united in marriage with Nancy Newton, with whom he had four daughters, Dawn of Waverly, Tamera of Circleville, Janine of Chillicothe, and Jacqueline.  He was currently married to Melissa Graves, mother of his daughters, Michelle and Natasha both of Miamisburg.  Laird also left behind many grandchildren.

     Laird was a member of the Chillicothe High School Class of 1959, was on the 1956 Cavalier football team, and had been residing in Miamisburg, Ohio.  His body has been cremated, and no funeral service will be held.
