Robert Allen Payne "Doc", age 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on October 30, 1940 to the late George and Elizabeth Payne. He retired from Columbus Coated Fabrics after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and spending time with family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers; and two sisters. Doc is survived by his daughter, Angela (Kevin Simpson) Payne; and his beloved dog, Bailey. All services will be held privately. He will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
