David Michael Shepard, 77 of Phoenix, Arizona, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born Nov. 4, 1940 in Chillicothe, OH, to the late Donald and Eula (Foley) Shepard. David was married for 34 years. Surviving is his daughter: Tammy O’Donnell (Kevin) of Valrico, FL. and his son Dan Shepard (Debbie) of Gilbert, AZ. He had 4 grandchildren David O’Donnell (Annemarie) and Kristopher O’Donnell and Leah Johnson (Keith) and Jonathan O’Donnell (Nadia). He has one great granddaughter Christine Johnson, and his very close friend was Geri Binde.

     In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by Lana Shepard mother of their children.

     David had graduated from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, OH. He worked at Marathon Steel and retired from Capital Castings for which he gave 30 years of his life in their service. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. He has been a member of the American Legion Post 62 of Chillicothe, OH. He was a motor head and his 1^st love was cars (Chevy).

     A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Private calling hours will be held for the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
