Sharon Kay Schneider, 82, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday February 1, 2024 in Embassy of Valley View Nursing Home, Frankfort.  She was born on July 8, 1941 in Chillicothe to the late Henry and Beatrice (Hoylman) Wright.

Surviving are her sons, Tom (Jill) Schneider, Kettering; Matt (Beth) Schneider, Chillicothe; William (Jessica) Schneider, Columbus; and Randy (Terry) Hughes, Missouri, beloved nephew, Alan King, Columbus; grandchildren, Elle Schneider, Isabelle Schneider, James Schneider, Thomas Schneider, Ollivander Schneider, Katie (Hughes) Curtis, and Kellie (Hughes) Jordan, and great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Juniper, Hannah, Chloe, and Aubrey.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Bill Wright, and a sister, Mary Jane Kellis.

Sherry had worked as a nurse touching many lives over the years.  She enjoyed gardening, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Embassy of Valley View and Hospice for all their wonderful care and support.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dan Bennett, officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to the hour of service on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org.  An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
