WILLIAM H. ALLYN, JR. William H. Allyn, Jr., 54, of Trego Creek Rd., Chillicothe, died December 26, 1998, at his residence with his family. Bill was born August 27, 1944, in Chillicothe to the late William Allyn, Sr. and Jane N. Phillips, who survives. His wife, the former Susan Littler, and their sons, Matthew, 21, and William, 13, also survive. So do his daughter, Jennifer, and his sisters, Cynthia Marzluff, and Kathleen Allyn. Bill graduated from the Harvard College, studied at the College de Geneve in Switzerland and was graduated from the Ohio State University College of Law. He engaged in private practice of law for nearly 30 years, during which, at various times, he served as Master Commissioner to the Ohio Supreme Court, Acting Judge of the Chillicothe Municipal Court, Assistant Ross County Prosecutor and Assistant Law Director for the City of Chillicothe. He was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
