Stella E. Clayor Faulkner Hernandez, 75, of Chillicothe, died 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born March 21, 1942, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Cephus and Carlene Deffenbaugh Claytor. On October 16, 1971, she married Bernie B. Faulkner who died May 1, 2002. On September 19, 2009, she married Justino Hernandez who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Bryan Faulkner, of Chillicothe; numerous stepchildren; a grandson, Joseph Faulkner; brothers, Lloyd (Sharon) Claytor, of California, Clifford (Sandy) Claytor, of Richmond Dale, and Charley (Susan) Claytor, of Beaver; sisters, Sandra (Dean) Betkey, of Chillicothe and Donna Merrill, of Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Carol Claytor and a sister, Doris “Dody” Engle.

Stella was a member of Hilltop Mission Church and the Ross Co. Senior Citizens.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jared McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery.
