WILLIAM EUGENE HARROD William Eugene Harrod, 52, Old Route 50, Londonderry, died January 7, 1997 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1944, in Chillicothe, to William C. and Dorothy Wiseman Harrod, of Chillicothe. He is survived by his wife Connie Sue Byers Harrod. Also surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Christopher Haynes, of Rt. 1, Londonderry; daughter, Ashley Harrod, at home, granddaughter, Kaley Ashton Haynes, of Londonderry; brother and sister-in-law, Lance and Cheryl Harrod; and nephew, Christopher Harrod, all of Chillicothe. Mr. Harrod was employed by Chilpaco Maintenance Department for many years. He was a member of World Harvest Church, in Columbus and was a Peacetime Air Force veteran. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, at Garrett Funeral Home, McArthur, with Rev. Glenn Newland officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vinton County, with Military Graveside services by Vinton Co. VFW Post 5299. Friends may call 2 p.m.  8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
