In Memory

Karen "Kay" Kelley (Heidelbaugh)

Karen Kay Kelley (Heidelbaugh)

Kay R. Heidlebaugh, September 15, 1944 - February 11, 2011. Kay was born to Harold and Virginia Kelley in Bay City, Michigan. She grew up amid the love of her family and friends. She then attended Ohio Northern College, acquiring a BA in Social Work. Guided by her belief in service to her community she was involved with child Welfare Services before becoming a Realtor with over 20 years of distinguished service. Her commitment to bettering the lives of those around her led to positions of leadership within the Girl and Boy Scouting organizations and the Methodist Church as a Youth Director. A member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, she also volunteered for two years at Heritage Hospice. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gary Heildlebaugh; son, Brant; daughters, Audra, Diane, Sandy; grand-daughter, Darian and many other loving relatives and friends. We will all miss her wisdom, zest for life, indomitable spirit, and sense of humor. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no further services will be held. A joyous open house for family and friends is planned for February 26, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at her home in Albuquerque. Kay touched each of our lives in very special ways. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
