Ronald L Jones, 66, of Chillicothe, died at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.

 

He was born July 28, 1944 in Chillicothe to the late Wilbur & Marcella Cooker Jones. On November 29, 1964, he married the former Sandra G Templeton, who survives. Also surviving arehis two daughters, Mikki (Jon) Berry & Tara (Keith) Knisley, both of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Jordan & Jarret Knisley; a step-grandson, Jon Berry III, three brothers, Leonard Jones, of Tennessee, & James (Nettie) and Thomas (Kathy) Jones, both of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Robert (Clara) Runyon, of Chillicothe, two nieces, Cathy Jones & Kandie (Roman) Pernell, & three nephews, Leonard, Jr, Joseph (Diana), & James (Sharma) Jones, Jr.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Jones, & a grandmother, Josephine Detty Cooker.

 

Mr. Jones retired from Chilpaco following 37 years of service. He was a member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene.

 

Funeral services were held January 6, 2011 at the Haller Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Gray officiating.
