Michael Alan "Mike" Long, 66, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 1, 2010 at Pickering House Lancaster, Ohio.

Michael was born September 21, 1944 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He retired from Anchor Hocking.

Surviving are wife, Sandra Long; children, Chad Long of Lancaster, Michelle Long (Rob Wells) of Lancaster, Buddy (Debbie) Long of Logan, Kenny (Shelley) Long of Logan, Milo Long of Logan, Corrina Long (Chris Kimble) of Logan, Tammy Long (Chris Wright) of Logan; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Long of Chillicothe; special friend, Peggy Harris; his special friends on the 3rd and 5th floors of the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, at the Pickering House in Lancaster; and his beloved pet, Molly.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin & Nadrin Long; brother, Ronnie Long; his beloved pet, Tasha.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial will be at the New Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed Monday, October 4, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
