Jerry D. Peck, 65, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born December 26, 1943 in Chillicothe, Ohio, and after five long and difficult years, finally graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1962.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Peck; and his children, David Eric (Tania) Peck of Lancaster, Ohio, Andrea (Tom) Hinds of Knoxville, Tennessee, Cameron Austin Peck, and Kiersten Jane Peck both of Lancaster, Ohio; he was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his brothers, John W. (Mary Lee) Peck of Westerville, Ohio, Jimmy R. (Jill) Peck of Lancaster, Ohio; and sister, Sharon (Mike) Hunter of Lancaster, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald V. Peck and mother Alma Peck King.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, located on Route 22 East of Lancaster.
