L. LORAINE DAVIS CHURCH PRICE



L. Loraine Church Price, 58, of Chillicothe,
passed from this life Monday, morning, Jan. 27, 2003,
in the Chillicothe Nursing Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
She was born May 24, 1944, in Ross County,
the daughter of Andrew and Winona Horn Davis.
In 1962, she married James Church, who preceded her in death in 1975.
In 1987, she married Donald Price, who preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving is a daughter, Teresa Church and her fiancé, Jason Gambill, Chillicothe;
sons, Patrick Church, Santa Monica, CA,
and Andrew Church, Chicago, IL;
a step-daughter, Cathy Withrow, Columbus;
grandchildren, Brandon Ackley and Christopher Church;
a step-grandchild, Jalana Raymond;
and sisters and brothers-in-law, Virgina
and Paul Miller and Deborah and Millard McComis, all of Frankfort.
Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Prior to her illness, Loraine was the Parking Enforcer for the City of Chillicothe.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church
and was an active member of AFSCME Local 1562,
having served as an Executive Board member and Recording Secretary.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday
in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends
at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home
from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
