Gail (Darragh) Young Richardson, 62, of Corsicana, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Corsicana.
She was born in Middletown, Ohio on December 11, 1944 to James and Thella (Kling) Darragh.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
She also had many fond memories of Chillicothe, Ohio, where she spent most of her school years before her family moved to Texas. She has lived in Corsicana since 1963, raising her family and working as secretary to the area engineer of the Texas Department of Transportation, where she retired after 23 years of service. After retirement, Gail enjoyed spending time with her precious family and friends, traveling, volunteering and serving her Lord at St. Luke United Methodist Church, of which she was a member.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother in law: Ernest Bennett.
Surviving relatives are her beloved family, Son and daughter in law: Timothy and Cassie Young, Corsicana. Daughter and son in law: Kristie (Young) and Mark Bower, Mesquite. Grandchildren: Amanda Bourland, Lubbock. Rocky Johnson, Mesquite. Zachary Bower, Mesquite. Emily Young, Corsicana. Madeline Young, Corsicana. Sister: Judith Bennett, Bush, Louisiana. Numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
