FULLERTON, CA: Donald Keith Schumaker 68 of Fullerton, California passed away January 6, 2012 in Santa Ana, CA. at Country Villa Health Care Center.

He was born Aug 31, 1943 in Chillicothe to Harold and Ruth Seiler Schumaker.

On December 26, 1964 he was united in marriage to Betty Strausbaugh Schumaker, Yorba Linda, CA. who survives; also surviving are son Keith (Pilar) Schumaker of Fullerton, CA. daughters, Shannon Schumaker of Hollywood, CA., Julie (James) Thompson of Yorba Linda, CA., three grandsons, Grant Schumaker, Garrett Thompson and Cole Thompson and one granddaughter, Merrin Thompson, all of CA.; four brothers; Neal of Pataskala, OH, Gary, Rex (Helen), and Eric (Rhonda) Schumaker of Chillicothe, OH.; and one sister Loretta Cheryl (John) Israel of Sandusky, OH. and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Harold Jr.

Don was a retired plumber and still liked to give someone a hand in plumbing whenever he could. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and playing a friendly game of poker. You could often find him collecting "treasures" along his journey in life.

A memorial will be held Thursday, January 19 in Yorba Linda, CA.
