Dwight Lowell Weingard, Jr.

April 2, 2010

PALM COAST, FL: Dwight Lowell Weingard, Jr., 65, of
Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio,
passed away suddenly on March 29, 2010. He was
born on August 21, 1944 in Chillicothe to Dwight
and Mildred Soummers-Weingard. Dwight spent 40
years as a salesman in the automotive parts
industry. In 1985, he and his loving wife Phyllis, to
who he was married 45 years, relocated to Largo,
Florida and very recently moved to Palm Coast.
Dwight was known as a quiet man who was firm in
his convictions. His interests were woodworking,
metalworking, and cars; the Corvette being his
ultimate favorite. He was a member of many clubs
relating to Corvettes, and could often be found at
car shows throughout the country with his wife and
friends. In addition, he was an avid NASCAR fan,
promoting Dale Jr. as his favorite driver.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Phyllis;
daughters, Moriah Nelson and her husband Ron of
Chillicothe, Carrie Ricotta and her husband Don of
Apopka, Florida; mother, Mildred Weingard; brother,
Steve Weingard and his wife Linda; and his buddy,
Barney, the family cat. Services will be private.
