Growing up on the hill (Brewer Heights), he was the leader of the pack. We'll miss him.
Pat and I and our families moved to Chillicothe at the same time, summer of '54. Our families rented a house next to the old Clark Milling Company. The Simpsons lived upstairs and the Ziglers lived downstairs. I remember Pat an I doing things that would now horrify us if our grandkids did it - like playing mumblety-peg with real knives when we were 9. Pat and I guarded lives at the country club pool for several years. Pat was the boss, and I his not so respectful underling. Later when Pat was getting a start with Goodyear, he and Cheryl rented my grandmother's house in Akron. And so our lives interwtined, and now, in retrospect, they should have intertwined more in our later years. That's a lesson for all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Cheryl. Rest in peace Pat.
