     Janan J. Jones, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away 12:48 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born August 19, 1944 in Ross County to Augie and Geraldine Nichols Dunlap. On December 15, 1972 she married Danny Jones who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Tami (Delbert) Bennett, Greg (Gayle) McDonald and Casey (Missi) Jones, all of Chillicothe; two granddaughters, Madison McDonald and Alexis Jones; a sister, Pamela (Harold) Price, of Chillicothe; a nephew, Jason Reinhard, of Waverly and special friends, Steve and Ruth White, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her mother, Geraldine Sanders and father, Harry Sanders.
     Janan retired from the Mead Credit Union. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and she wouldn’t miss Tiger Woods when he played. She was a wonderful cook who really enjoyed cooking for her family, friends and coworkers.

     She was a loving and caring women who would do anything for anyone. Jan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her granddaughters above all else. She was so proud of them. We couldn’t have asked for a better wife, mother and grandmother.

     The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Dialysis Center in Chillicothe. Jan really thought a lot of all of the employees and knew friends from dialysis. They all made a bad situation better for her.

     Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
