James E. Joslyn of Chillicothe went to be with the Lord January 1st, 2023, at 4:40 a.m. at the James Cancer University Hospital. He left behind his wife Theresa (Lambert) Joslyn whom he married on May 24, 1976 and his daughter Jamie (Charles) McComis, step-daughter Kimberly (Wesley) Dennis, Grandchildren Logan Taylor, Garrett McComis, Vivian Dennis. Nephews Jay ( Debbie ) and Hal ( Melissa) Joslyn, sister-in laws Kathy (Mike) Ogan, Kitty Lambert and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Charles Joslyn, only brother Bill and wife Betty (Mitchell) Joslyn and several sisters and brother-in-laws. Jim worked tirelessly for the Chillicothe Fire Department from April 7, 1969 till he retired February 2, 1993. Jim was also a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He bequeathed his body to the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health.
